One of my all time favorite ways to help heal, and clear my skin is just by simply drinking tea!
The benefits of drinking tea is endless!
Tea has been used widely to help people heal from sickness, helps us to relax before we go to sleep, to cleanse the body from toxins, and much much more!
Well I have researched and found the best teas and their benefits to heal acne prone skin!

White Tea:
White tea is incredible for the skin! Since it’s less processed then other teas, it’s filled with its complete natural form of goodness! It helps to fight free radicals, preventing pigmentation and premature aging. It contains anti-inflammatory and anti-septic properties, helping to soothe acne, eczema and redness, overall leaving you with a clear complexion! It contains high amounts of phenols which strengthens collagen and elasticity of your skin. White tea is rich in antioxidants and also helps to reduce stress.
Dandelion Tea:
Now I never realized how versatile this plant truly was! This antioxidant rich tea is very helpful in anti-aging. It helps to remove toxins from the body, and also detoxes the liver. I love that it helps to balance the secretion of hormones, which also helps to clear skin tone! It’s known to help with digestion, and is also a diuretic.
*Anyone with acne knows that if there’s a substance that helps to detox the liver and helps to balance hormones, knows that its valuable and worth ingesting!
Fennel Tea:
Fennel tea is one of my favorites to help clear my acne prone skin! Just drinking it daily has done wonders! It’s anti-bacterial, and rich in antioxidants. It helps to keep acne at bay and gives you that beautiful, natural glow! Fennel tea also helps to remove toxins from the body, and purifies our blood. It acts as a diuretic and aids in healthy digestion. Healthy gut=healthy skin!
Chamomile Tea:
Chamomile tea is known as one of the best herbal teas for acne! It helps to minimize fine lines and cleans out congested pores. It’s anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties help to relieve acne, rosacea, and eczema. It’s known to heal scars and breakouts faster because of the natural polyphenols and phytochemicals. It also helps to relieve stress, and promotes good sleep (very helpful in healing acne)!
Rooibos Tea:
This anti-inflammatory tea is jet packed with healing vitamins and minerals for skin! It contains zinc which is very helpful for healing acne. It slows down the aging process because it contains superoxide dismutase. It contains alpha hydroxyl acid which is found in skin treatments like natural chemical peels. Rooibos tea helps to fight free radicals, and is very healing to our immune system and digestion. It contains magnesium which helps to lower cortisol production, resulting in less acne!
Green Tea:
Theres no wonder why green tea is always the “go-to” tea when you have acne! It’s benefits are amazing! Green tea contains high anti-inflammatory properties because of its polyphenols called catechins. These catechins help to reduce swelling, redness and irritation of the skin. Green tea contains antibacterial properties, helping to fight bacterial growth that causes acne. It’s very high in vitamin B2 and vitamin E, which is very needed for healthy and clear skin! It helps to maintain healthy collagen levels for youthful skin. And it’s great for dark eyes circles and puffiness, due to its ability to shrink the blood vessels under the eyes!
In other words…
If your not on the tea drinking band wagon, it’s time to start now!
You can start to heal your acne sooner, one cup of tea at a time!
Leave a comment if you try any of these and which one is your favorite!❤︎
